Kyle L. Pederson is the latest in his family’s long tradition of lawyers who approached their practice with the eye of fighting for the victim’s right to full compensation. “It’s the principle of the matter,” was his grandfather’s favorite saying in practice and in life. It is this message that has been inherited by Kyle and now has become the driving force behind his practice. Kyle strives to obtain justice for his clients, no matter how significant or insignificant it is perceived. As a trial lawyer, Kyle is an aggressive advocate for the concept of “full justice” whether by verdict or by settlement.
Winning at trial depends upon the understanding of your opponent, their tactics and desire to prevent payment at all costs, and mastering the intricacies of your client’s injury case. Kyle spent the first several years of his legal career working for the insurance defense firms he now fights every day. He understands what makes them tick and uses it to his advantage. Through this experience, Kyle learned early on that his calling was representing people, not insurance companies.
Kyle takes on all types of personal injury cases, with an emphasis in catastrophic cases, such as those involving traumatic brain injuries, injuries to the spine, and wrongful death.
Kyle is a graduate of St. John’s University where he earned his undergraduate degree and California Western School of Law, where he graduated cum laude.
Kyle is very active with local bar associations, including Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Diego County. He previously served as Co-Chair of the Litigation Section of the North County Bar Association and continues to be an active member of Consumer Attorneys of California. He continues to study and attend seminars on traumatic brain injuries, including those organized and presented by the Brain Injury Association of America and the Brain Injury Association of California.
Kyle and his wife, Marisol (also an attorney), reside in Oceanside and enjoy spending time with their dogs, Luna and Bella.
