For more than three decades, Gary Lewis has helped clients win their cases through top-notch legal research and writing.
Prior to joining Carpenter, Zuckerman & Rowley, Gary played a key role in the aftermath of the sensational Doris Day litigation. Gary wrote much of the briefing on behalf of Ms. Day’s former attorney/business adviser who successfully sued his insurance carriers for bad faith. In another case, Gary’s briefing helped a widow recover an eight-figure settlement from an accounting firm and brokerage house which were alleged to have squandered the widow’s money through fraud and malpractice.
At CZ&R, Gary has repeatedly defeated efforts by insurance companies to try to limit the firm’s clients from obtaining punitive damages. Gary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and his law degree from the University of Southern California.
